ACRYLIC PAINT, RED OXIDE PRIMER, 400ML

Red oxide primer is a fast-drying protective primer for all metal surfaces. Formulated with modified alkyd resin and anti-corrosion pigments, it protects against rust and provides additional anti-corrosion performance for topcoats. Ideal for use on structural steel and beams. Red oxide primer ensures better topcoat adhesion and coverage and slows down rust by inhibition and complex building. It can be welded through. Paintable with all one-component paints, after 1 hour drying time. Saves pre-paint time by quickly filling hairline cracks and slight imperfections. Strong adhesion on degreased, bare metal surfaces. Surface preparation (e.g. by abrasion) may be needed for oxidised or galvanised surfaces. Red oxide primer is lead and chromate free, and has no chlorinated and no aromatic solvents. Suitable for use at car body work, boat fittings, farm machinery and equipment, Steel building elements, metal windows, chassis and frames, seams and spot welds.

Notes

Stored at normal ambient temperatures and has a shelf life of not less than 10 years with correct storage. Aerosols should always be stored below 50°C, away from direct heat and flame.
