UR5562 is a Semi-rigid, optically clear polyurethane potting compound. Due to its careful chemical makeup, it is extremely durable and therefore suitable for a range of applications. Its excellent resistance to scratching or marking give a good cosmetic appearance, along with its water white transparency, make it an ideal choice for LED potting and encapsulation. It also displays a high resistance to weather, UV light and mould growth making it a good choice for exposed applications such as outdoor lighting. It also maintains a high resistance to acids and alkalis giving it good scope for different environments.
