ER26500 is a lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) battery. This battery features high and stable operating voltage, high minimum voltage during pulsing, non flammable electrolyte, stainless steel container and hermetic glass to metal sealing. Typical applications include utility metering, alarms and security devices, memory back-up, tracking systems, automotive electronics, professional electronics, IoT devices.
- Compliant with IEC 60086-4 safety standard and EN 60079-11 intrinsic safety standard
- Underwriters laboratories(UL) component recognition (file number MH28717)
- Low self discharge rate (less than 1% after 1 year of storage at +25°C)
- Restricted for transport (class9)
- 8.5Ah nominal capacity at 4mA, +20°C, 2V cutoff
- 3.6V nominal voltage
- 150mA maximum continuous current
- Maximum pulse capability is up to 200mA typical
- Operating temperature range from -55 to 85°C
Warnings
Fire, explosion and severe burn hazard. Do not recharge, crush, disassemble, heat above 100°C incinerate, or expose contents to water. Do not solder directly to the cell, use tabbed cell instead.
