BL654 series Bluetooth module is designed to simplify OEMs enablement of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) v5.0 and thread (802.15.4) to small, portable and power-conscious devices. It provides engineers with considerable design flexibility in both hardware and software programming capabilities. Based on the world leading Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 chipset, the BL654 module provide ultra-low power consumption with outstanding wireless range via +8dBm of transmit power and the Long Range (CODED PHY) Bluetooth 5 feature. It is programmable via Laird’s smartBASIC language or Nordic’s software development kit (SDK). Typically used in fitness sensors, location awareness and home automation.
