Product Overview
KIT-TPLSNIFEVB is a Battery Management System (BMS) communication monitoring and debugging toolkit. It is used to monitor and decode BMS internal communication. It is composed of separate hardware and software components. The KIT-TPLSNIFEVB hardware board facilitates the acquisition of electrical transport protocol link (ETPL) signals by a logic analyser. It is a listen-only tool that can be used at the end of an ETPL bus or directly included in a daisy chain, as it is designed not to be intrusive on the ETPL bus. The TPL decoder is a High Level Analyser (HLA) extension for the Saleae Logic Software. It eases decoding of the NXP TPL protocols on several physical layers.
